I was reminded of a friend who decades ago was keen on buying good wine for $10.00 or less a bottle. No Petrus 1949.
Stoeger is owned by Beretta and the STR-9MC is a fine pistol. Comparable in quality to another Turkish pistol of which I don't remember its name. Very well-built and costing around $300.00 plus. Comes with one (1) 11-round and one (1) 13-round mag. The magazine springs are overbuilt. Keep the originals as a memento and replace them with NDZ P365 magazine springs, which I did.
Its size and weight comparable to the Sig P365, there is one major issue when acquiring it. Be forewarned---unless under warranty, Stoeger's supply for parts is basically non-existent. Including mags, springs, and other assorted gizmos.
But it is one pistol that I could confidently gift to my son.

Grips: I installed a Hogue Handall Jr. and a Pachmayr slip-on (Glock 42/43). One on top of the other. KrazyGlued the Pachmayr to the Hogue.
Interchangeability with Glock: Can't vouch for that ---
