The Taylor Swift-created furor is not coincidence. It has an undeclared purpose and intent.
It's nothing new under the sun. In the 1800s, it was called the "Baile, botella y barajas" regime (Dance, bottle and playing cards).
Keep the masses embroiled in ethereal activities and they will dedicate wholeheartedly their lives to only those pursuits. Anything else would be "too much trouble" --- like rational thinking.

There is a common personal product of which a squirt, 50 years ago, would be undetectable in bio-chemical tests performed in an autopsy. Difficult to detect nowadays, it is not on the usual protocolized bio-chemical tests performed post-mortem. It produces heart attack symptoms soon after ingested in a cup of tea, coffee, glass of water and/or drink. Death caused by a heart attack follows.
Putin knows what it is. So did Section 8. No need for a bruised body.
Also --- the hell if I'm going to specify which product it is. But it's found in, probably, every household. If public knowledge, you'd see a dramatic increase in heart attack deaths.
EDIT: Fwiw, when you do the research for the promulgation and establishment of a Forensic Sciences Institute, you'll come across some interesting stuff.
