Yep - the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Reorganization Act of 1981 divided the court and created a new circuit. The judicial districts of Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and the Canal Zone remained with the Fifth Circuit, while the judicial districts in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida became part of the new 11th Circuit... fucking politics.

Our illustrious and well-informed Republicans lawmakers, our political betters and masters. Decided that we, the people, cannot be trusted to own such an item. As such, no matter what happens on the Federal level. It is still a felony to possess one in the "Gunshine State" that is Florida. Thank you, Rick Scott and your many allies who still currently hold office, in the state legislature.

So is GOA going to challenge this? The law is very vague.
