Talking with a guy on another forum. He had a Taurus model 66 .357 magnum with a documented 75k rounds. From lite .38's to hot .357. That's pretty impressive. It finally started to fail (after 25 years) so he said he sent it back. They said it was beyond repair and offered him a new gun so he got a PT92. He said he now has close to the same round count on it.
Pretty impressive.

Be VERY careful when buying a Taurus 66.
The ones from the original 70's Taurus company are well known to have SEVERE timing issues right out of the box!
