Jacketed bullets shoot just fine in this old beast.
Lead bullets do not.
Anyone have experience with lead bullet choices to improve things?

I don't make my own bullets, only buy them from the usual sources.

You would have to cast your own using very hard lead.
Years back, people had good luck using 100% Zinc cast bullets in those microgroove barrels.
