Re: Best 300 blackout round for hunting?
Sent you some pic's. Ha, ha, didn't know AOL was even still supported... Yep. I can still remember when I had to pay for AOL, and listen to the 56k modem click and whistle and moan to connect to the internet! But then I was always an early adapter. I didn't pay any attention to whoever is your curr...

Re: Best 300 blackout round for hunting?
Some people, myself included like the versatility that the 300BO has. Mine is very handy and lite with a 10 inch barrel. Would much rather tote it hunting in the swamp than a larger rifle in the calibers you mentioned...
Can you post a picture (privately, if you prefer)? I'd like t...

Re: Best 300 blackout round for hunting?
Why are you hunting hogs and deer with a 300 blackout? 30-06 or .308 with jhp will do exactly what you were asking about, with essentially the same size bullet and via a variety of bullet weights to match those available in 300 blackout. Is it because you're using a sound suppressor while hunting? T...

Re: Who likes pay pal?
I've used PayPal for many years. I don't like to, because of their anti-2A stance, but it is awfully fast and convenient, and free if the money comes from my bank account and I send it to "friends and family." I never put anything in the pay-to order, and never let a merchant/seller send m...

Re: Let the new administration know what you think of their Youtube videos
As I understand this, these graphs indicate how the dislikes were falsely lowered and capped multiple times thereafter to keep the dislikes total number low and constant. Who did the manipulation? I guess it's YouTube, not the WhiteHouse, although the WhiteHouse maybe asked for it. We all know they ...

Re: CWP Renewal
Wife and I renewed ours together yesterday at the local Ag office in Orlando. Both of us in and out in 15 minutes, easy as pie. Very user friendly process, to boot. And we walked out with the new licenses in hand, you understand? No days or weeks of waiting! Had thought about doing it at the tax col...

Re: .400 CorBon
I bought a .400 CorBon barrel for my Sig p220 (Browning BDA .45) a few years back, and some reloaded ammo, but I've never shot it. I'd even forgot I had it, till I saw your post. Now I don't even remember why I bought it. I think I remember my reasoning now. I have several p220's in standard calibe...

Re: Any place to dove hunt?
I might be repeating myself, but here goes.... A dove breast is two chicken mcnugget-sized pieces of dark rich meat, and two tiny slivers of white meat between those dark pieces and the breastbone. Unless you've shot the crap out of your dove, these are easy to filet off the breast (or cook them int...

Re: Any place to dove hunt?
So I ended up getting permission from a farmer in St. Johns County to use his field opening Sat. afternoon. Mix of cover crop (some kind of a tall seashore plant) and sweet potatoes. By myself. Could hear a private shoot a couple miles south and another a couple miles north of me, with regular but o...
